ABOUT US

A&M Greenland Environmental Co. (AGE) was founded in 1994 in Vancouver, Canada by a group of professionals led by Dr. Tony A. Zhong, an ecologist and forest professional who have over 20 years of experience in forestry, ecology, waste treatment and recycling, and acid rain research. We have developed, managed and completed hundreds of contracts and projects for government, industry, and individual clients since AGE was founded. Our quality consulting services have been well received by our clients, and we will work more closely with our clients to achieve mutual benefits and sustained development.

Our Strengths

* Our professional team is well familiar with the existing social, economic and environmental challenges in both Canada and China. We have extensive experience in the research and development in forestry, ecology and environmental protection, and we have established partnerships or collaborations with many prominent companies, universities, research institutes and government agencies in both countries. This unique advantage has benefited us a lot in reducing the cost for our clients, shortening the cycle of a project completion, thus maximizing their revenue and net profits, or minimizing investment risks.

* We have accumulated a lot of expertise and experience over the past twelve years, which is a strong foundation of our professional consulting services to our clients in the years to come.
* We uphold strictly professional ethics through direct, clear and accurate communications and actions. We deem our clients as gods and conduct ourselves with honest, care, sincerity, and are accountable for our words and work.
* Our quality service guarantee to our clients, and committed responsibility for the well being of our communities.
* Our commitment to protecting the Earth by waste treatment and recycling, ecosystem restoration, and sustainable natural resource management.

Professional Team

Dr. Zhong, A. President, Senior Associate
Dr. Zhong is an experienced ecologist, forest professional and organic residuals recycling expert, working since 1994 on biosolids and bio-waste composting and land application for soil reclamation and afforestation, forest carbon sequestration, bioenergy and biofuel related biomass production in plantation forests, and acid rain damage alleviation . He has over 20 year’s experience in ecological research, biosoilds and agri-waste treatment and forest management, and has provided consulting services in these fields internationally. In recent years, he has worked with his Chinese colleagues and business partners, extensively collecting data and information and developing various projects in China, including preparation of PIN and PDD documents for Chinese CDM projects. He specializes in forest nutrition and fertilization, biosolids land application, bio-waste management and computer simulation of terrestrial ecosystems, such as forest carbon sequestration modeling using FORECAST, CO2Fix, and CBM-CFS3 models. Dr. Zhong completed his formal education at Fujian Forestry University, Nanjing Forestry University, and the University of British Columbia.
Dr. Wang, T. VP, Senior Associate
Dr. Wang is an expert in gene selection and improvement of forest species to adapt to adverse environment, such as dry land, desert and saline sites. He has developed the climate models “ClimateBC” and "ClimateAB", and assessed the impacts of climate change on forest adaptation, forest ecosystem, gene conservation, forest productivity and carbon sequestration, which have been widely used in the western Canada. He is also experienced in developing growth response functions to optimizing genetic resource management for better adaptation and higher productivity (or carbon sequestration) in future climate.
Dr. Kimmins, J.P. (Hamish)

Dr. Kimmins is a professor of Forest Ecology, Faculty of Forestry, University of British Columbia (UBC). Since 1969, he has taught undergraduate and graduate level forest ecology for 34 years at UBC, and graduated 41 MSc and PhD students. He is the senior Canada Research Chair in Forest Ecosystem Modeling. Dr. Kimmins received the gold medal for scientific achievement in forestry from the International Union of Forest Research Organizations and the Canadian Institute of Forestry for the development of ecosystem management simulation models. He is a member of the World Commission of UNESCO on the Ethics of Science. He was nominated twice for the Wallenberg Prize (the Nobel Prize in Forestry) for the development of FORECAST
Dr. Wang, J.

Dr. Wang is associate professor of Lakehead University, He is an expert in research and development of forest carbon sequestration and climate change. Dr. Wang received his Ph.D. degree in forest ecology in the University of British Columbia in November 1997. He earned his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in forest ecology and forestry in January 1982 and November 1987, respectively, both in Northwestern College of Forestry, P. R. China.
