Tony Zhong – President, Senior Associate

Tony Zhong, BSc, MSc and PhD is an experienced climate change and forest carbon trade professional, working since 1994 on forest carbon sequestration, bio-waste composting and biosolids land application for land reclamation and reforestation/afforestation. He has over 20 year’s experience in ecological research, bio-waste treatment and forest management, and has provided consulting services in these fields internationally, and in recent years, he has worked with his Chinese colleagues and business partners, extensively collecting data and information and preparing PIN and PDD documents for potential Chinese CDM projects. He specializes in forest fertilization, biosolids land application, bio-waste management and forest sequestration modeling (using FORECAST, CO2Fix, CBM-CFS3 models). Dr. Zhong completed his formal education at Fujian Forestry University, Nanjing Forestry University, and the University of British Columbia.
